If you happen to be on a tight budget then your best option would be Inkjet Printers. Inkjet Printers are more economical in comparison to Laser Printers. There is a wide selection for your to select from. There are different varieties of Inkjet Printers that are available on the open market to choose from. You can choose your own printer based on the type of print output quality you need.

When it comes to replacing the ink cartridge in our printer, many of us are tempted to purchase a discount ink cartridge or refill the old ink cartridge. This is to avoid paying the cost associated with OEM ink cartridge.

Many printer companies inform you that discount ink cartridges or refill cartridges can damage the printer. They also claim that it can effect the print quality giving you poor print outs. While companies that sell remanufactured cartridges claim that this is untrue and it is okay to use discount ink cartridges or refill cartridges.

With all this information going back and forth, it is usually the user who suffers. On one hand we do not want to damage our expensive printer and on the other it is always nice to be able to save money on the cartridge.

The point to remember is that OEM print cartridges will always give you the best possible print quality. This is not at all possible to a discount print cartridge or a refill ink cartridge. The print is always dependent on the quality of the ink. Every brand uses a slightly different ink type in the cartridge. At times, even different models from the same company use different ink types.

Choose a paper that is compatible with your specific printer. Epson has a great selection of paper for all of their printers and many other companies make papers for Epson printers that work very well.

The inks used in OEM cartridges are designed to work with a particular printer. If you end up using the wrong type of ink then not only will your print suffer but you can even damage your computer. Most discount print cartridges and refill ink cartridges use the same ink without taking into consideration the printer type. These inks invariably are not compatible with all printers and can end up damaging them.

Therefore, in order to protect your printer, it is imperative that you always opt for OEM print cartridge. Do not sacrifice quality for cost as in the long run it will always cost you more.
