Wow is the best way to describe the Xerox Phaser 8550 Printer. When you buy this printer, you are simply getting one of the best printers on the market that wins award after award. A 600 MHz processor assures you of quick output and you will also get a 600dpi x 2400dpi on the Xerox Phaser 8550 printer.

A lot of printers take forever for the First Page Out Time, but that is not a concern here as you will see your first page in about 5 seconds and the furious pace continues with a 24ppm cycle. There is plenty of memory already available, but you can also expand to 20GB by upgrading with the optional external hard drive. The 85,000 page monthly duty cycle is also incredible and unheard of at this price range.

When you are looking for value for your dollar, the buck stops here, literally. This is something that Xerox is known for and they do it again here as the closest competition is hundreds of dollars away in price. Xerox always does it cheaper, but quality of the Xerox Phaser 8550 Toner is never an issue.

When you look at the Xerox Phaser 8550, you are getting a printer that is packed with features that would cost you hundreds more on any other printer. Something such as the Adobe Postscript 3 would be an add on for many of the other printers and it is just something else that Xerox throws in for its customers. Very typical of what you can expect in a Xerox product.

The Xerox Phaser 8550 Printer makes the most of its 8550 toner by implementing their exclusive Solid Ink Color technology. This is an environmentally friendly printing system that allows you to save money and go green at the same time.

Other features that are incorporated into the Xerox Phaser 8550 printer that will save you both time and money is the double sided printing feature. No need to print and reload, the machine takes care of all of that for you! The usage analysis monitor will also have you putting extra money in the bank.

A very costly possibility in time and money is when a printer goes down. Xerox cuts that off at the pass as the Xerox Phaser 8550 printer has another exclusive feature in the Phaser Smart Sytem that can trouble shoot just about any problem and walk you through the cure. If it gets to the point that it still needs a little extra attention, you are still not going to have to call up a repair man and wait for him to show up as the CentreWare embedded Web Server will allow you to go to your desktop computer and troubleshoot the problem from there.

One of the things to bear in mind is that OEM printer cartridges will always provide you with the best possible print output quality. This is not possible with various discount print cartridges or with a refill ink cartridge. The print ouput is mainly dependent on the type of quality of ink. Each brand utilizes a slightly unique ink type within the cartridge. At times, even models that are different from the same company use different ink variations.

Do you think it would be easy to refill colour toners for a colour laser? Most people do! There are, however, several hurdles to overcome. First, think about plain black printing. If a page is printed in black, it doesn’t matter if it is comes out dark grey, jet black, or any shade in between. Our brain still sees it as “black”. Consider now colour printing. You can tell if something about the colour in a colour picture is not quite right. If the colour looks washed out, or too rich, or too yellow or blue, we can always tell. The human eye is particularly sensitive to different colours – in fact the human eye can distinguish between tens of thousands of different hues. That’s why our printer monitors have moved on from 256 colours to 32 million colours! So, the first hurdle to overcome when trying to refill color toner is to match exactly the colour that the genuine manufacturer has. Not easy at all, as they have spent millions of dollars developing that toner for that machine and have stringent steps in their manufacturing plant to ensure there are no variations from batch to batch, and that the last cartridge to come out of the plant is exactly the same colour as the first. The companies that try to copy the genuine toner haven’t got a hope of matching the original manufacturers toner colour as the formula is patented and a closely guarded secret. If the colour of the refill toner isn’t going to match, the colours are going to be wacky!

The next point is the density of the toner. Did you know that genuine toner is ground up more finely? If you could look at toner under a microscope, the original genuine toner granules look small and spherical, whereas refill toner looks large, chunky and uneven. This affects the way toner is laid onto a page – genuine toner is laid on evenly and looks sharp and refill color toner looks fuzzy and there is some ?bleed’ evident under a loupe. This also affects how adjoining colours look, not to mention extra wear and tear on printer components such as drums and fuser units.

If you happen to be on a tight budget then your best option would be Inkjet Printers. Inkjet Printers are more economical in comparison to Laser Printers. There is a wide selection for your to select from. There are different varieties of Inkjet Printers that are available on the open market to choose from. You can choose your own printer based on the type of print output quality you need.

If you want clear, sharp prints from your colour laser make sure you use genuine toner cartridges. If the colours on your printouts look strange or washed out, check to see that someone hasn’t refilled the toners with non-genuine toner or that generic toners haven’t been used.

When shopping aournd for inkjet printer cartridges on the internet bear in mind that postage can significantly add to the overall cost of a a single inkjet cartridge. In some instances the cost of postage can be as much as the cost of the inkjet printer cartridge which can effectively double the price that you end up paying. While this is still frequently less expensive as well as more convenient than going to your local office supply store or news agent to purchase your inkjet cartridges it is not actually the best way to maximise your shopping experience.

Gone are the days of the box-camera – it is the age of digital technology and digital cameras have taken over the entire range of photography. However, at its early stages, digital photography had eclipsed the most exciting aspect of seeing what you have clicked on photographic prints. Things have changed and various digital camera printers with many unique and useful features are now available to take care of this deficiency

As these digital camera printers do not need a computer to give you the prints, you can print directly from the camera and this makes it very convenient and portable. However, deciding which printer, out of the hundreds flooding the market, would suit you best is the most important question. Given below are the special features and other information relating to these cameras that will help you make the right choice

In order to get prints at home, digital camera printers have special features ranging from paper sensors that recognize photo media to built-in editing tools. The other special features are given below

? Memory Card Slots: If you have a memory card slot, all that you have to do is to insert your camera’s memory card and print. You don’t need a computer or any cables.

? Color LCD screen: You can see the photos on a color LCD screen before you print.

? Front-panel buttons: If you want to preview, edit or remove the red eyes, you should choose a printer that has front-panel buttons for this purpose.

? Photo proof sheets: Thumbnail images on a printed page can be displayed on photo proof sheets to enable you to preview and choose the photos you wish to print.

? One-touch connections: You can have one-touch connections to your printer, TV, and PC if you place your camera in a built-in dock for printing directly from your camera. The other advantage is that you can recharge your batteries every time you connect

Samsung has created a wide array of color, blacj and white, and multifunction printers for business as well as home use. Samsung printers are not just available at reasonable prices (the least expensice model is slightly over $100) but also furnish some unique features that can only be found in high end models from their competitors.

Besides considering the above factors you should also consider the following paper-handling factors before you decide which digital camera printer you wish to buy.

? Capacity: It is cumbersome to keep on adding paper to the printer. As such the number of sheets a printer can hold is important. Generally personal printers hold between 100 and 300 sheets.

? Versatility: Choose the printer that can print on the type of paper you wish to use. Some printers cannot print on certain types of papers that other printers can.

? Paper size: Your choice of a printer should be such that it can handle letter (8 1/2″ x 11″) and legal (8 1/2″ x 14″) sizes, as well as borderless 4″ x 6″ and 5″ x 7″ photo paper, panoramic paper, and envelopes.

? Image Quality: The prices of the printers of color photographs, though high in the beginning, have now come down and are within the reach of the average buyer but you must ensure that the printer can deliver photo realistic results, which should be as close to real photographic prints as possible.

? Print Resolution: For fine details and smooth gradation the print resolution should be about 2,400 x 1,200 dpi and this would be more than sufficient.

Consider what you will be printing before setting your budget. You already own the printer so other than the actual art work or photograph, the paper you choose will have the biggest impact on the quality of your final product.

These digital camera printers store the images we capture on a memory storage device like a memory stick, a memory card, or even the camera’s built-in memory. There are many people who would also like to have actual copies of their photographs. It is a matter of choice and depending on your needs you can choose the best digital camera printer. The above-mentioned features will help you in making the right choice.
